No COLA for Social Security but a Break for Medicare

Mercatus Senior Research Fellow Jason Fichtner is quoted in today’s Washington Post on what happens when low inflation results in no COLA increase in Social Security benefits – a “hold harmless” provision kicks in to protect Medicare PART B premiums from rising.
